　　嘉靖十年五月甲申朔掌都察院右都御史汪鋐奏劾浙江巡按御史李佶酷刑奇察失宪臣体诏下南直隶巡抚逮问鋐又言南京户部尚书边贡嗜酒旷职月视事无三日南户部钱谷出纳案牍饷核视他署最繁而贡荒肆不视事公牍委积守侯留难防政病民亦已大甚且习俗之怀咸倡自一人南都素尚便安而贡有时名且任六官之长以若所为诚恐都司因而向风为害不细请亟罢贡以为不共职者戒  上以其言为然诏贡致仕仍谕南京各堂上官慎职率属勿怠  敕蜀府华阳王长孙承爝管理府事
