　　嘉靖十四年五月辛酉朔礼部左侍郎黄绾言臣往奉命勘大同事方下法司而刘源清等輙先奏辩以为臣欲文致其罪为逆党报讐继又自夸其功谓臣率意颠倒枉杀天下忠臣义士此何言哉臣初入城不顾利害擒其首恶王福胜等四十四人械系驱其党郭经等九十人出城以正典章今议者犹以臣为不尽法以此劾臣以此参臣又以此发策阴贬臣臣有章奏该科贴报或摘去要语或一字不贴及源清妄辩俱与全贴欲令传播以惑四方观听臣何足惜顾惟  圣德神功真足以系人心而彰告械者亦拥阏而不彰足可惜耳臣往谢恩中乞敕该部特用表章风示四方垂之国史以为将来劝惩而该部竟以乡曲姻娅贿赂之私匿而不举乃至今日犹有此说况臣所用以擒首恶如纪振王功等虽升三级皆置之闲散祥董玺等至今不升夏鹗反以考察去无惑乎源清等之肆志也请从公据实早为会问因着其大略有五一曰明事机二曰明情罪三曰明职守四曰明毙端五曰明欺乱极言源清闇于事机贪功罔上之罪诏下所司议报
